Why Invest in Moss Removal?

Moss is common on roofs around Reading. Shaded roofs, north facing pitches and the damp local climate create ideal conditions for it to grow. Once established, it can spread across the tiles and become thicker over time.

As moss builds up, it holds moisture against the roof and can get underneath the edges of tiles. Over time, this can contribute to tiles cracking, shifting or becoming loose. Loose moss can also work its way into gutters, causing blockages, or fall onto paths, patios and other areas around the property.

The safest way to remove it is by hand. We use tools suited to your type of tile, allowing us to remove the moss without putting unnecessary pressure on the roof. We don’t use pressure washers or aggressive cleaning methods that can damage the surface of tiles or disturb their position.

Every job includes a full gutter clearance, so the moss we remove isn’t simply left behind in your gutters. We also apply our HSE approved roof treatment to stop regrowth, backed by a 3-year guarantee for added peace of mind.

Professional results, with no mess, no hassle and no hidden costs.
Fully insured, certified and backed by our guarantee for complete peace of mind.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Aidan did a great job removing over 20 years of moss from our roof and treating the tiling to remove lichens. Judging by the job he did on iur neighbours’ roofs we expect to have it as good as new as soon as the treatments take hold. Aidan was responsibe and helpful at all times ; nothing was too much trouble ( getting iff the roof to move his van for us !) and he left the work site immaculate and tidy. Highly recommend his services !

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent service from Jetflow External Cleaning. I had an issue with water overflowing from the gutters after some heavy rain, so I researched a few local companies. Jetflow got back to me almost instantly.

I explained the problem to Aiden, who provided a clear quote and explained exactly what was needed. Booking was really easy, and he cleaned all the guttering around the house in around an hour.

Aiden even provided before and after images from his GoPro, which showed just how much moss and debris had built up inside the gutters, I couldn’t believe it!

He was professional, friendly and very easy to communicate with. His responses by text were quick, even at the weekend, which was really appreciated.

I’d definitely recommend Jetflow and Aiden to anyone looking for a reliable and professional gutter cleaning service. Thanks again for your help, Aiden!
